Virtual Hong Kong: New World, Old Traditions - Massive Open Online Course with Immersive Learning

Funded by City University of Hong Kong

"Virtual Hong Kong: New World, Old Traditions" is one of the world's first Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) with immersive learning experience.

The three-week online course utilises virtual reality (VR) technologies to explore the history and cultures of Hong Kong, aiming to provide every learner with a unique experience in online learning. From the Bun Scrambling Competition to Beating the Petty Person; from the Sheung Wan Man Mo Temple to "Cage Homes"; from the God of War to the God of Literature, learners can experience how this city straddles the cultural traditions of the past and the present.
